We are committed to providing the finest quality plants and service in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
Our Creed
While the atmosphere of the nursery emphasizes the beauty and wonder of the created, we do not forget the Creator. The principles and foundation of our business are based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. All that we have accomplished would not be possible without God and it is to his glory that this business has been established.
These Core Values are essential to our success as a company.
Customers: There is only one boss –the customer. We are committed to listen and serve in a manner that will consistently produce delighted customers.
Faith & Family: We are closed Sundays to allow our staff time for their families and spiritual renewal.
Our People: We are dedicated to hiring excellent staff and treating them well and with respect. We will also provide the necessary resources and training for them to succeed.
Quality: We will provide our customers with the two dimensions of quality; quality of product and quality of service. Both will be at a standard that will make our staff proud to work at Homewood.
Knowledge: Knowledge to answer our customers’ questions. Knowledge of the best plants. Knowledge our customers can count on to be successful gardeners
Integrity: Character does matter. Our honesty and integrity in all situations must not be compromised.
Fun: We provide products that beautify people’s homes, workplaces, and landscapes. Our customers have an innate desire to work with their hands and to grow things – to feel connected to the outside world. We have the great job of meeting that need!
Longevity
Our core staff have been with Homewood averaging over 15 years. Our Greenhouse Manager has been with us for 28 years, the Nursery Manager has been with us for 21 years, and our Garden Center Manager has been with us for 12 years. The assistant managers have been here 22 years and 5 years.

About Homewood Nursery, Inc.
Homewood Nursery is an independent garden center located in Raleigh, NC. We are a full service garden center, offering all types of plants and gardening products. Homewood is also a plant grower with 90,000 square feet of greenhouses to producing annuals, perennials, and poinsettias. We pride ourselves in our quality plants and quality customer service. Homewood has a combination of over 250 years of expertise in plants and gardening.
